About Mundo fearleX

Mundo fearleX ran for one year almost to the day. The first post went up on September 11, 2006; the last, an apology for months of silence and a promise of a redesign, on September 21, 2007. In between came 73 posts: nine fractal renders, a long run of Ubuntu and Kubuntu tutorials, web design notes, Final Fantasy news, a few poems and one widely linked story about a photograph. Under every page sat the blog's motto:

There is no greater pleasure than sharing what you have learned.

The handle, the author explained in a 2007 meme post, is "fearless" with the double s swapped for an x. The blog's About page introduced someone self-taught, moving from Delphi, Clipper and MS-DOS support toward web standards and Linux. Part of it is quoted below; the personal details at the start are left out.

About this reopening

The domain lapsed and was re-registered. This site is a rebuild, not a copy of the old theme. Every dated post is back at its original address with an English summary, and the original Spanish text sits underneath it. A few things were handled differently:

• The fractal renders still live on the author's Flickr. Each render page links there instead of re-hosting the image, and the plates on this site are drawn marks, not the art.
• Images from other sources, embedded videos, comments, ratings and view counters were not carried over.
• Posts that reposted news reports in full keep only their opening and the credit the blog gave.
• One private family post is summarized rather than reproduced, and personal details are trimmed from two others.

New writing from 2026 is kept apart, under Notes, so it can't be mistaken for the original blog.
